Front Cover | Draft 2

1. I edited the photo by making the background a lot brighter and by sharpening the photo. The software i used was picmonkey.

2. I then began to add my masthead which is an overlay, so i pasted it on the photo.

3. After, i began to add text and i used the font Bangers as it looked like a comic/ pop art font which goes with my theme. I decided o go with the colours of black, yellow and red as it matches the masthead colours.

4.I added more overlays to create the sell line borders which gives a comic/ pop art effect and also a stereotypical pop magazine design.

Music Magazine Cover | Draft

Unedited Pictures | Music Magazine Front Cover

I decided to use this photo,

As it is not only clear and in focus but the model is looking directly at the camera which catches their attention. Also, by the retro telephone and vintage chair, it matches my theme of pop art.

Music Magazine | Front cover plan

- Z A P -

This is the final sketch of my music magazine and how I want it to look like. The layout is quite chaotic and complex but pop music magazine are laid out in this way, which brings attention and excitement to the readers.

Fonts- I decided that i would use bold Arial fonts for the headlines to bring attention to them and to make it look to readers that they're important. Also, I would use bright and bold colours. For the subtitles i decided to use handwritten fonts.

Model- The model would either have pop art make up or I could edit a pop art overlay over the models face, but if i decide to do neither, i would leave the models face unedited. I would want the photo of the model to be from the chest and up, or from the torso.
